As Roden headed towards the shopping district, he kind of slowly regretted his decision to join Paul to head to the arcade. All Paul wanted to do of course was try out that Dance Revolution game, Paul was good at them, he had musical talents, that was for sure, but it would also mean that Roden would have to play too and let’s face it, Roden was not the most coordinated person when it came to dancing, but Roden only assumed this is what friends do right? When you get invited to something, you just go no matter what right? Roden wasn’t sure how the whole group friendship worked, he’d known Bobby the longest but recently both Levi and Paul made way into his life since going to the University so now he’d have to learn how to handle a larger group of friends and hanging out with Paul was no exception.
Though Roden was pretty happy Paul asked him, he could have asked Levi or Bobby, but he gave Roden the call which made him feel kind of special, guess he was fun hanging out with after all. Roden stood at the arcade, looking out for Paul as he saw many people pass by but still no sign of Paul. Roden lifted his hand just to check his watch, maybe he was too early or read the wrong time, or something. He wasn’t sure what to make of it, but he’d just wait for now, maybe Paul is running late, that could happen too he thought.
Roden stood there with his hands in his pocket, probably looking like an idiot as he nervously smiled to anyone who walked by and gave him a look, gosh he was growing a bit paranoid here waiting, like people constantly watching him standing near the door, like maybe he was reading too much into it, maybe they were just kind by standers just being kind by giving him looks and nods, he wasn’t sure but it sure was driving him crazy. Gosh, please Paul be quick please, is all that was going through his mind honestly. He just wanted to get it over with, the waiting was probably going to drive him insane soon if he had to stand here and wait any longer.
