Sometimes, it would be easier to be a vampire. "No, it's okay. You almost got it man, you almost got it". To not feel bad for people, or angry. "To your right I said! Your right Matt!" And to control them to do exactly what you ask them to do, not to inevitably do the opposite! "Dude, look out!"....
The hanging row of stage lights swung from one side and smashed straight into the wall. Did they have a band in Inferno tonight? Yes. Did this start in a little under three hours? Yes. Does he have any help from his brothers? Of course not. Tyler was off at work which was understandable. Trust fund and club aside, he still had to keep himself busy unless the guy would go nuts. Hell, Jerry was starting to go spastic right now. It was hard, and he had no idea why there mother had left a club of all things to three boys in there twenties who are more strung up in there own lives to come together to something so trivial like a night club. She put her faith in the wrong sons. As the stage crew started picking up the shattered pieces of the lights, Jerry just looked at it. The lights were broken and the wall had a great big crack in it. Jerry slammed a clip-board down on the bar and felt his teeth clench. Grrrrrrrr...... Oh crap, he's growling. It was low and quiet, but obviously it was a nice indicator that Jerry had to calm down. So he turned and went and sat at the bar. The life of Jericho Wolfe; never a dull moment.
Well, except for today. It wasn't the most riveting to say the least. Apart from vampire's seeming to be increasing in numbers and making it there undead lives ambition to see to it that the Brothers Trinity are dead, it was college and home-life. Home was the opposite of fun, imagine a men's jail cell just more depressing. Jerry did his part, cleaned and did washing, but talking to Tyler? Talking to all three of them together? No way, so then again maybe it was better that Jerry was doing this by himself. The pressure though was that the band wasn't just any band, it was Lifehouse so it was a bit nerve wrecking. Especially since Jerry spent his teenage years singing to the band in the shower like a maniac. He wanted to make a good impression, and possibly get a hug off of Jason Wade! Oh hell yes! Jerry was writing down sums, now not on tonight's charges and wages but now on repairs. A fun life it was!

Just the thought of being stuck in traffic for an hour made Paul want to die inside. He didn't really drive much anymore, ever since his accident a yea ago, but he still needed to get around. Plus, his parents had paid for a new car so who was he to turn them down? Maybe they wanted you to get into another crash... they probably hate you... these thoughts whispered through his mind as he shook his head. No they love m--- Snap out of it Paul. Was I really about to argue with myself?! Damn... I need to be medicated. he thought as a few chuckles escaped him.
All hope seemed lost when the car in front of him actually started moving! Yay! So he began to drive forward and within a couple of minutes he had arrived at his destination. Inferno! Not the bad kind. Just a club that was partly owned by one of his best friends. They were supposed to meet up there study and help out with setting up for a band they were having today. Lifehouse! Paul hadn't listened to them lately, but he remembered them from when he was in high school... back when he was human. Not an electric freak. Don't even think about that... today is about doing normal stuff... studying.... hanging out with friends... all that normalness... he thought as entered the empty club.
As soon as he went down the steps and looked to the stage he couldn't help smirking. Someone had totally messed up the lights. He saw a glass all over the place. He couldn't help wondering if it had been Levi that did it. He walked up to the bar and thats when he saw the very handsome man. The middle Wolfe brother. Jericho. Oh god hes so hoooott!! he thought as his heart beat sped up a bit. He had known the brothers for a couple of years now, but didn't ever really talk to Jericho. Probably, because Paul spent most of his time at school with Levi.
"Hey Jerr. Haven't seen you in forever." he said to him as he set his books down on the bar and smiled at Jericho.
"Is Levi around?"

If it wasn't for people's jobs, Jerry would have done it himself. Werewolf strength isn't there for no reason, right? A hammer, brute strength a little wolfy jump and the lights would be up an running. But as he sat there, glancing over at the crew trying to clean up the glass and debris, he really wondered how his mother did this all on her own. She was without a doubt superwoman if she could balance kids, mortgage and getting this place prepped every day and night. If only she was here. Tapping the pen on the sheet, he tried to be decisive. Just a little, to try and figure out how he was going to do all of this. And as of right now, he had - nothing. Amplifying determined behavior in his employees with a little empathic persuasion? Like that would do any good. It was all on him tonight. Jack and Kai are out of town, his brothers are being completely dismissive and there is so much four workers could do when destroying the club equipment seems to be the only thing they can do well. Mean, but true. Rubbing the back of his neck, he could feel the tension starting to rise. Oh, this sucked. When did life get so complicated? He had school, a job and not to mention the full moon is in a couple of days and he had to pick up the injections from Sara, and clean up after two absolute slobs. A quick vacation, he would take that in a heart-beat.
But as he sat there, feeling the growing frustration in himself as well as everyone in the room, he felt someone else come in. It was like a breath of fresh air. He felt curiousity, inquisitiveness and - oh, attraction. He felt the person's heart beat get that little bit faster, and the nerves going into action. His gaze looking up slightly, he was about to turn around and see who it was when they walked up beside him. Looking up, he saw - Paul. It was one of his brother's friends, he saw him around campus and such but they haven't spoken in a while. Except when he would come over to the house or Jerry would pick Levi up from Paul's place. But - wow, he was looking good. And he still remembered who Jerry was. Bonus! Giving Paul a smile, he sat up and looked over to him. "Hey stranger! Yeah, I know. Been too busy. How are you anyway?". Jerry asked, putting the pen down on the board and turning slightly to face Paul as the guy put his books down on the bar. He was really looking good. Jerry isn't the kind of guy to flirt or force anything, but when a guy had brown eyes and a smile like that, it made it a bit hard. Needless to say, Paul got bonus points for being on of Levi's friends that Jerry could actually stand.
But of course, he was just looking for Levi. "At times like this, I wish. No, he had some things to do. Obviously helping set the stage up wasn't one of them". He smirked, glancing over and seeing luckily that the crew were bringing over some reinforcements for lights. Must have been in the basement, a few years old and dusty but hopefully would do in a pinch. The crew carried it out back to fix it up and it was just Jerry, and Paul. Maybe a little bit of conversation was innocent. Jerry usually liked to clear the air, especially to his brother's friends that he isn't just 'Levi's older brother' or 'Tyler Junior'. Friends were a good thing to have, right? "But um, he shouldn't be too long. Just sit back and wait if you want. Can I get you a drink?". He smiled as he stood up to move behind the bar. Getting a guy a drink, a friend none-the-less, had innocent all over it.

As soon as Jericho turned around Paul noticed him give him a quick look over. He knew that Jericho wasn't straight... his gaydar alone could tell him that, but Paul never had the chance to talk to him about his love life before. He probably thinks you're ugly. he thought, letting the scumbag part of his brain whisper insecurities. He did that a lot. He would be sitting there talking to a really hot guy totally confident one minute and then the next he was telling himself that the guy probably secretly hated him... he knew it was probably a psychological issue, but he never thought about seeing a shrink about it. "I've been good. Super busy. You know school and--" he said in response to his question, but he hesitated. Other than school all he did was do research about himself. Attempting to find out what he was now, was one of the biggest parts of his life. Definitely the part that kept him the busiest. "-- other stuff..." he said hoping it didn't come off as too awkward.
Paul looked at the crew working on the stage and gave a slight nod. "Yeah I could see how he could come in handy..." he said as he watched the crew leave the are and head out back. Should I leave? Levi isn't here... is it going to be awkward?? he thought then watched as Jerr got up and moved behind the bar. Then the hot Wolfe asked him to stay. He said Levi would be there soon, but Paul wasn't so sure. If Levi hadn't shown up it was probably for a reason. A small part of him was worried about it... but staring at Jericho's pretty blue kind of got rid of any worries he had.
"Yeah sure, I'll take a beer. Nothing too heavy though, after all I did come here to help out. So anything you want just ask and it shall be yours." he said with a flirty smirk on his face. God, it was a great day to be twenty one in America... alcohol and a hot guy.

One thing you should never do. One thing that is practically impossible to achieve. One thing that many before Paul had tried to do to Jerry; lie. Sure, Jerry had no idea how big the lie was or what it was, but he knew that feeling like no other. The heart jumping anxiety to cover up your words, the vague hesitations and vibe of worry that instantly manifests. Jerry knew it well, because he has done it too many times. Covering up why he can't come out on a full moon, on so many instances that have occured over his life. It almost made him smirk, but he wasn't going to hold it against the - alternative yet studly guy sitting across from him. He could feel it, he could feel the attraction coming from Paul. Jerry was definitely taking it as a compliment, hell how could he not. If only Paul knew how he was feeling right now. But to be in a relationship? Thinking a head, he knew this but trust me, this is hypothetical. How could he get into a relationship after his last boyfriend would beat him up until Jerry finally smashed him through a door. A relationship? Really? Don't call him the couple's grinch, but a relationship? Attraction? Really? Jerry covered his jumpstart thoughts with a cute smirk at Paul. "The typical life of an American college student? I can relate". Well, at least in ways.
When Paul commented on the stage, Jerry kinda felt embarrased. He couldn't even do his job properly and everything was obviously falling apart, not exactly a turn on. Looking quickly from the stage, to Paul, to the stage, he had to try and cover this up. "Yeah, but - um. I've got it handled. Everything fine - in some compacity, I guess". He said with a kind of nervous chuckle. Such a loser. So since he had already made himself look like the most undatable person in all of LA, he decided to change the subject. So moving behind the bar, he asked if he wanted a drink and he did. A beer? He was liking him more already. Sure he was kind of like the manager at the moment, Jerry felt like with his emotions and also with the emotions of everyone in the building, he deserved a cold one. Sure he had only a couple of hours till his all time favourite band was going to be on that stage, but a little super strength and roadrunner speed could get it sorted. Right now, he just wanted to chill - he wanted to chill with Paul. Grabbing two beers, popped both tops off before walking it over to Paul. Not before hearing what he said, and looking to Paul to see the flirty smile. Paul was keen. Jerry couldn't help but smile.
Sitting the bottle in front of Paul, Jerry grabbed his own beer and sat back. His feet rested on the bottom bars of another stool as he smiled over at the other guy. Jerry was obviously recieving this look from Paul, he might as well praise it. "Keep my mind off of the disaster zone which is this club, have a beer and let us have - I dunno, a catch up. You're a music major right? I don't know why Levi hasn't asked you to perform here. I heard you're voice, it rocks". ..... oh, no. If that means walking passed an open classroom that Paul was practicing in, hearing it and stopping and listening for a while counts as hearing his voice. Did Paul know that? It was like a year ago, no big. But - um, this was awkward. And showed slightly on Jerry's face as his eyes widened slightly and he took a long sip of his beer.
