Her heels clicked against the floor beneath her as she walked into the bar, smirking softly before continuing until she found a vacant stool in front of the bar. She placed her purse down on the bar, noticing that Sed hadn't arrived yet. Oh how she enjoyed their little 'catch ups.' She hadn't realized the demon had been in town without her noticing for so long, but like many things in this town, things begun to surface to her sooner rather than later. Especially in Sed's case, she knew him all too well that he couldn't help but make an impression wherever he went. Now though, she was just curious as to what his plan was for this town. Why he was here, if it would affect her own agendas in any way, shape or form. She couldn't have Sed ruining her dominion over this town, and she wouldn't have any of it. She had her work cut out for her here, but she knew the benefits would be so much more promising than anything someone like Sedaiyus could offer.
A bartender soon arrived in front of her, asking her what she would like to drink today. She smiled cooly, holding onto her purse as she eyed the man. "I'll have your finest white, a dry preferably." The bartender nodded and soon went and poured a glass of wine for her, placing it in front of her. She took a sip, closing her eyes momentarily as she took in not only the smell of the wine oozing over her nose, but also the breathtaking taste, which was just too pleasurable on a night like tonight. It was a standard day in the office; do some paperwork, talk to some of the patients and try and mould their minds into her desires for them. People didn't understand what she did for them really, she wasn't just moulding them to think a certain way, her way, she was saving them. Giving them a second chance at life, if you will. They were nobodies, locked away in an asylum because they were disowned by their families and friends as a result of their behaviours which were at the time, uncontrollable for them. She was giving them a new purpose in life, one which fit directly in with the mission and objectives of her own company. They could take her to where she knew the company needed to be; heights which may appear unreachable, but in reality were more than reachable. She was going to harness their powers for the greater good.
She took another small sip from her wine, looking around once again as she waited for Sed to appear. Well, he was never good with timing, that was for sure. She knew that too well, indeed. She did hope he would make his appearance soon, she would prefer having a night in, then associate with all of these people, fraternizing over their basic lives which she had no care or interest for. They were quite frankly annoying, disruptive and beyond saving. Well maybe she wouldn't go that far, there was always a way to bend someone's mind a certain way and harness it for other measures.

Sedaiyus was fairly excited when he got invited to meet up with Nina Archer. Sedaiyus was hundreds of years old and had a very open life style when it came to relationships so it is needless to say that he didn't have many attachments to humans as they never lived too long nor showed any indication to take them seriously other than a one night stand. Sedaiyus usually only remembered those that left their mark for good or for bad and even then it might take a reminder as Sedaiyus never seemed to slow down in his stinted lifestyle. But Sedaiyus couldn't deny that he enjoyed the company of Nina very much. She had power, wealth, unrivaled beauty, strong and interdependent woman who knew what she wanted. Sedaiyus liked her and as far as humans go he could be inclined to say she was one of his favorite people to run into. This said though Sedaiyus always looked good whether he tried to or not as well as had to make quite the impression wherever he went, he wanted to look his best for her, impress her even which took more time than most woman trying to get ready for their prom or wedding if such events were even big enough to compare. Sedaiyus glared at himself in the mirror upset he couldn't decide. After a few moments he stepped back in front of the mirror with his first chosen attire. Sedaiyus grinned devilishly at how good he looked then frowned again as another Sed behind him shook his head disappointingly. Another image of Sed appeared behind him so that there was two of them in the bathroom. It was easier to talk to oneself if there was actually another oneself in the room. Sed did this allot when getting ready to go out. He refferred to himself as Bacchus in this manner and his 'dress guide' took the role as the primary Sed instructing him on what was best. "Drat Bacchus you bumbling idiot, how old is she now? Damn I wish I kept track of this stuff. None the less she is a gorgeous woman, you can't meet her looking like some childish boy no matter how good you look, she will want to see a man and that is what you need to give her. Gah I can't work like this!" Sed irritatingly said to himself. Bacchus sighed annoyingly and changed. Bacchus stood back in front of the mirror with a smile on his face feeling like a million bucks now. His attire was much more evident on the making him look older. But Sed shook his head disapprovingly once more. Sed spoke again "good call on the facial hair and more defined hair, you pulled off looking older but what in the hell are you doing putting THAT on?!" Bacchus shrugged confusingly feeling like he made the perfect choice replying "What?! I look sharp, expensive, sophisticated." Bacchus said smiling pridefully. Sed retorted "Yes you do. Do you really want your first meet looking sharp though? Really? Or do you want to look perfect? Expensive is good but sophisticated? Bacchus first off she already knows you your not impressing her that way cause she must already know how sophisticated you are. But to digress you look good but you look like your going to a damn cooperate business meeting not to see a divine woman now shape up." Bacchus sighed irritatedly once more and began changing. Sedaiyus stood back in front of the mirror this time completely sure of himself that what he chose was best. There was no way this wasn't the way to go. Sed looked at Bacchus and blinked like what he saw couldn't possibly actually be in front of him. "I know you are quite the jokester Bacchus but....." Sed couldn't even form words for what he was saying. Instead he cleared his throat, regained his composure, took a deep breath and threw on a fake smile and said quite sternly. "Bacchus....dear old Bacchus. Bacchus Bacchus Bacchus. Here is what I am going to do. I am going to turn around and count to ten. Then I am going to turn back around. If you are still wearing that when I turn back around I am going to rip out your spine and then strangle you with it." Sed turrned around and began counting "One. Two."Bacchus grunted angrily as he quickly fixed himself up. Sed turned around once more and was very happy to see Bacchus had changed like he had asked. Sed was about to say something when his eyes stumbled upon the clock. "Bacchus, go! Go now! You are late you moron! A beautiful woman like that can't be kept waiting. Damn it you always ruin these things for me." To which Bacchus replied "Bah,just shut up and go away. I got it from here." Sedaiyus made his way to the bar walking in and spotting Nina taking a sip of what appeared to be wine. Knowing her it would be the finest. When he saw the reaction on her face after taking the sip Sedaiyus held a elfish grin as he snapped his fingers. What ever pleasure she found from the taste of the wine would amplify greatly. It would enhance everything about it, the taste, the after taste, the buzzing of her taste buds, and feeling on her tongue. Then that would send a small, quick, burst or shock tingling throughout her entire body. Sedaiyus then immediately sat down next to her figuring she would know what was going on after a minute or so anyways. "God every time I see you it would seem you look more and more beautiful. A rare commodity among your kind, but one I absolutely adore, especially for you. So how exactly have you been love? I am glad to see you ravishing as ever and certainly it would seem your luxurious life is continuing on track. Good for you." Sedaiyus said with his soft and mellifluously alluring voice in his usual charming manner. His glowing ocean eyes gazing upon Nina. He soon finished "I apologize for being late darling. I had a very good excuse prepared for you too but being face to face I find myself too in awe to remember what my lie was. To be honest though I was consumed with some very important matters that involved why I am even here in the first place and unfortunately lost track of time. But I promise you had been on my mind every minute after I got the invite before I dove into my work. But if you are upset with me I can think of a handful of activities for this evening that we could do to make it up to you." Sedaiyus chuckled faintly with a wink his light hearted and care free nature as apparent as ever.

She quietly glanced at her watch, rolling her eyes as she realized Sedaiyus really was late in meeting her. Who did he think he was? She knew being on time wasn't one of his strong points, but keeping someone like her waiting? She was becoming slightly annoyed and was growing more and more impatient by the minute. She had put higher hopes in Sedaiyus, maybe it was just a demon thing. Demons could be extremely...Odd, at times, she knew this. They were so consumed in their own selfish natures and well beings that most of the time, they either never realized the bigger picture, or just didn't care about it, which was a waste. She never understood them at times, she really didn't. She could study as much psychology of the mind as she wishes, but there really were no proper studies of the demon mind and how their mind works, other than simple guesses, which could easily go either way. Sedaiyus was one of those confusing people, she couldn't read him very well because most of the time, he was all over the place too much.
She soon took another sip of the wine, and noticed it tasting rather peculiar, almost completely different than when she last took a sip. She glanced over at the bartender, cautiously. "No one has touched my glass, have they?" To which he shook his head. She sighed softly, leaning back in her chair as she felt tingles pass through her body. She closed her eyes in pleasure, a slight smirk appearing on her face. Well, he had made his entrance known now, that was for sure. She opened her eyes, glancing over at Sedaiyus, the attractive man approaching her. Before he could say anything, she spoke. "Your late. Eleven minutes late, to be exact. You must think I have nothing better to do than waste my minutes away in a bar drinking wine, while I wait for you? Please, twenty five words or less in response." She smirked as he begun flourishing her with compliments, to which she took another sip of her wine, staring directly at Sedaiyus. "My, my. Just when I think I have you all worked out, you completely surprise me. Or should I be less surprised, considering it is in your nature to direct the attention away from your own doings?" He was good at flattery, she would give him that. She was indeed, flattered, but wasn't going to lower her guard because of it.
She raised an eyebrow with a smirk towards Sedaiyus at his suggestions as she placed her wine glass back on the table. "I'm sure you could. But if you think a few flattering lines and sexual suggestions are going to woo me, I believe we've spent too much time apart, my dear." She was more than sure he knew ways to make it up to her, though she was pretty good at holding grudges against people and never forgetting. "Well, I am at least happy to see that you have agreed to meet up with me. I believe we do have a lot of things to discuss? Because I apologise for my assertiveness, but curiosity has just gotten the best of me. Why is it that you of all people have stumbled their way into Los Angeles of all places? Hardly the place for a man of your...Calibre. Unless there is more at work here that you are more than welcome to enlighten me on?" She grinned on confidently towards Sedaiyus, hoping he had something beneficial to inform her of.

Sedaiyus smiled happily "Oh I am so glad you agree too, we certainly have been apart for far too long and I do apologize for that, but its all the more reason to take me up on my offer to have dinner with me and you know, catch up." Sedaiyus said completely twisting the context of Nina's original statement and using it to suit his own desires as Sedaiyus naturally did to just about everything. Sedaiyus listened to Nina carefully and noted what he found was her true intentions for wanting to see him. She wanted to know what he was up to, as did many, of course it very well could be just fun and mischief but Sedaiyus had a certain record of using this as a cover for more complex motives most wouldn't even consider him intelligent enough to ploy. This was all intentional too, Sedaiyus never had any desire to appear powerful, smart, or very threatening at all. This protected him as well as empowered him. Why be king when you can be his advisor pulling the strings and enjoying similar power only no ones targeting a kings advisor or pointing the fingers at him when things go amiss, and this was the positions Sedaiyus enjoyed staying. However people who Sedaiyus let get closer or who were more competent than most, in this case Nina was both, knew better. However this also revealed a certain curiosity about Nina as well that Sedaiyus now sought. Sedaiyus held a prideful grin as he replied "Of course I'd agree to meet up with you. Don't tell anyone else, jealousy runs thick in the world I live in, I wouldn't want you to be put at risk because of my affections, but I would be lying if I didn't consider you one of my favorite humans in the city if not this country entirely. But we can keep that our little secret." Sedaiyus said with a smirk and a wink. Sedaiyus turned to the bartender and looked at the wine Nina was drinking and then to the bartender and with a questionable expression couldn't decide whether he wanted to indulge himself or not.
"That does look awfully expensive. I would hate to spend money on such things and ruin my record of saving every penny I have after doing so well with not paying for pretty much anything. Sometimes I swear I face the hardest dillemma's. People don't realize how easy they have it with simple problems like 'do I save this girl from the monster and risk my life or save myself' or 'do I get a head start or close this portal that will unleash hell upon the world in turn sacrificing myself' I swear sometimes I can almost see myself switching positions at times like this heh heh. Ahhh who am I kidding I can't deny myself such refreshments already being here and all." Sedaiyus seductively looked at the bartender and spoke in a more charming manner than he usually did "I apologize but I am in quite the dilemma. You see I would love to try some of the wine my friend here is drinking only, I don't know if I would like it or not and as much as she would love sharing whats hers with me, I couldn't possibly ask such a thing. Is there any chance you could perhaps let me taste some in a I don't know, similar sized glass, just this once, and I promise you won't regret it." Finding himself blushing greatly and seemingly greatly effected by Sedaiyus's words. The bartender quickly poured Sedaiyus a similar sized glass albeit slightly smaller and walked away embarrassingly. Sedaiyus smiled very pleased with himself and was about to take a sip when he noticed his glass was smaller than Nina's. He put his glass down close to hers to be sure then had a pouty look upon his face refusing to drink his wine now. "Hmph, I must be losing my touch." Sedaiyus sighed faintly then gazed back at Nina and grinned happily once more. "Honestly though Nina, if you grow any more beautiful you might find me opposing fate itself to extend your life far greater than they intended human life to be for my own gain. It saddens me thinking of losing such grace. I guess its the cross one such as myself bares for living so long." Sedaiyus finished frowning for a moment now thinking about it.
"At any rate you need never apologize to me Nina. Your assertiveness and curiousity are two traits among many others about you I greatly adore. I wouldn't dream of you acting any differently. Though I am heart broken that you would think I would come here with some grand scheme beyond simply missing the company of your elegant presence. Is it really so hard to believe I was just passing through to catch up?" Sedaiyus asked with a devilish grin. "I can see why a woman in your position, with your power and connections would feel obligated to know the inner workings of he city, thus it is only natural for you to seek the reasoning for my stay. But it does raise a possible question of what might you be up to that I should warrant such attention? What could little old me possibly interfere in or affect? I would like to think I have only given you reason to think the best of me. If you are worried about me interrupting anything you have planned for 'the greater good' you have falsely placed worries. I have no interest in such things nor are my goals here going to disrupt any such things either. But......" Sedaiyus smiled mischievously as he continued "I cannot vouch however for the others that have popped up." Sedaiyus thought for a moment now greatly interested in possibly having Nina help him with something. "I think these matters are better discussed over dinner, maybe I could even make you dinner back at your place, my cooking is practically divine so I have been told. But I do have something I would greatly appreciate you looking into for me. In return I would owe you a debt equal to almost anything you may desire and would grant said desire for free should you help me with this dangerous matter. Interested? It may be something that endangers what ever you were worried about me endangering I can promise you that."

She snickered at his suggestion of a 'catch up' over dinner. Oh, how he hadn't changed at all. "As interesting as the idea of a catch up sounds, I think we both know where our little 'catch ups' lead. Not that I mind, however. I just don't think we are ever going to reach any arrangements, when we are so...Tightly acquainted." She smiled cooly towards him, taking another soft sip from her wine, which had got slightly warm since it had been sitting there for a few minutes now, untouched. She glanced back towards Sedaiyus, giving him direct eye contact as she placed her warm glass back down onto the bar bench in front of her. He definantly was difficult to read at times. She could have him figured out, when he completely changes his attitude and she is confused again. He was so interesting, indeed. Maybe that's why she had so much fun with him and actually enjoyed his company when he wasn't ranting on about the most nonsensical things. He did have a mind of his own, that was evident through his rants, however he made more sense than he would dare let on to her, she knew that. He may be a demon, but he was still a part of humanity in many ways. He had grown so accustomed to them, that acting like one through his emotions and thinking was almost second nature.
"Your secrets are always safe with me, my dear Sed. If there is anything in this city you can trust, its that I know what's right. Am I not the only human in this city you are so closely affiliated with, or have you been keeping more secrets from me than you dare let on? It doesn't matter, our affairs are our own, I just hope you are wise enough to realize the decisions you make define you." She continued to glance towards Sed, staring into his eyes as if to catch on to any thinking patterns or something. She did hope he wasn't holding anything important from her. She was being completely honest with him, therefore expected the same courteous behaviour in return. He was a valuable ally to have at her disposal, even though at times he could provide for more pleasure than business.
She did raise an eyebrow curiously as Sedaiyus spoke, smirking gently, honestly not sure if he was being serious or not. "My, my, it sounds like you have changed over a new leaf in this city? I didn't expect one such as yourself to be so...Hard earning with your money. I presumed you had other measures in place which got you the luxuries you received?" She continued to smirk as he compelled the bartender to give him a drink on the house. She glanced back towards him. "Oh, Sed. Everyone has a grand scheme. Its separating the fact of whether the scheme affects the person you are dealing with which is the game changer. I have a grand scheme, which I would enjoy you being apart of. And I promise it won't involve me putting a bullet through your head after we're done. You just have to trust me, I know you are capable of that."
"I have no interest in the greater good around here. I just want control over everything in this city. And with the rumblings of some gifted brothers who are in town, I have become highly interested in what they wish to do around here, and how that will affect myself and Umbrella. Maybe dinner would be the preferable location to discuss such matters, however I do hope I receive some kind of gain out of the whole situation. I would hate this just to be another ploy for you to gain pleasure at someone else's expense. No more games, Sed, I have a lot on my mind, maybe you can or maybe you cannot ease my thoughts with some resources you can provide."

Sedaiyus held a playfully disappointed look upon his face. "Oh but why can't our arrangements simply be our more tightly acquainted catch ups. They are certainly more pleasing experiences than business meetings after all." Sedaiyus said feeling long talks no matter who important that didn't lead to the bedroom or some form of entertainment to be quite boring. Sedaiyus grinned devilishly "Oh Nina, there are many beautiful humans in this city I wouldn't enjoy seeing harm come to not just you, but to help put things in perspective. If anything were to happen to you, I think you would be the only human in the city I would lift a finger to avenge without wanting anything in return to do so. I believe you might say I would take it personally. Though dare I say anyone who would be foolish enough to try to bring harm to you would have far worse things to worry about than little old me when you recovered." Sedaiyus chuckled faintly at the thought.
Sedaiyus shrugged at the comment made about his money "Its really a combination of things. I am making a experiment. It seems as though the more money I acquire, the more free things I seem to be given. I am trying to figure out how far this coincidence goes, if its some kind of human flaw to want to reward those who hold no need for such rewards, or if its perhaps mystical in nature. Truly baffling. Then there is the pride part, if I have to pay for something, it usually means im losing my touch, and I always like to play at my best. Besides if I must spend money I would rather do it on ravishing things for my favorite friends like yourself than on some silly glass of wine I care nothing for." Sedaiyus listened to Nina and what she wanted and Sedaiyus held a more concerned expression on his face once he realized what she sought would involved her dealing with and who exactly she specifically was interested in.
Sedaiyus forced a smirk and responded "Iam glad you have agreed to dinner. I promise you darling, you will not walk away empty handed. If the city is what you desire then I am sure you will find a way to make it yours. I just hope you understand what you are getting yourself into and who exactly you will need to cross to claim such things. Not everyone will be able to be bought or reasoned with Nina, and these individuals are quite powerful. I won't say I wouldn't cross them but I will admit I don't go out of my way to do so. As for these brothers you speak of. There are plenty of rumors and whispers about them. Enough to make me believe that they are perhaps something of a legend among my kind, at least those old enough to remember it. I am not but my mother was and she blessed me with the tale which up until now I didn't pay much attention to. I have plenty to tell you over dinner though, I wouldn't want to ruin a perfectly good evening tonight with stories. But I warn you Nina, please tread carefully, I don't want your curiosity to spoil our fun together prematurely."
