Each item just wasn't her as Athena wondered from store to store. She wondered if there were others similar to her and her brother out there. Of coarse no one would be as amazing as her and her brother, but there had to be people out there that just weren't into... This? She picked up another dress, this one a black corset with "ripped" skirt all flowing with polka dots... She twirled this way and that with the dress pressed against herself and tried to imagine herself next to her brother in it... Not bad, not bad... But not good enough.
Joash, the only person that was good enough socially for Athena. She began to wonder if there would ever be anyone socially for her, but quickly pushed it out of her mind as she watched a rather hot young man walk into another store. Since it was more her speed, Athena found herself following him in... Quickly though she wished she hadn't. One of the guys from High School, Joash's best frienmy, and the guy Athena suspected of knocking her up. She quickly turned on her heel (saying a silent prayer of thanks that she hadn't worn the other boots with the stiletto heel) and marched out of the store and straight for the nearest stand that sold lemonade.
Of coarse filtered water would have been best, for Athena's head, but right now she didn't want the risk of something else happening to make her day worse and accidentally parting the water in her bottle in front of humans would make her life that much worse... Athena fumed wondering what her brother was up to, if he knew that awful man was back in town (Joash had long suspected that it was the guy that once called him best friend that had spread the rumor of their incest)? And what would she do about it? Not a darn thing. There was nothing she could do that wouldn't upset the balance... But that was neither here nor there now. There was nothing she could do about him and that infuriated her. She hated being told no and as long as that man was in that store she couldn't be.
Out of the corner of her eyes Athena saw someone move forward and just assumed it was the guy in front of her and stepped forward. Naturally a fuming Mathis, which ever of the twins you were dealing with, if a powerful person. So when she stepped right into the guy in front of her she managed to push him into the person infront of him and they both looked back and glared at her. "Sorry," she muttered. "Bad day. Not paying attention to what's going on around myself. My bad."

Ducking out of a store she came back triumphantly with some black leather pants, a form hugging blue shirt and some black boots. This would go well with her black leather trench coat and wouldn't slow her movements down. Stowing the items in the small trunk, she turned and saw this young woman with a look on her face that could kill, "Hey there. You okay?" she asked as she picked up her bike helmet and went about putting it on her long black hair before slipping her gloves on.
She didn't really care what the girl said one way or the other but there was something about her that made Yuki pause in her usual routine. Was she a witch or some other kind of creature or was she just a really loud teen who was rebelling against her family? Who knew nowadays. She'd seen people walking around in steampunk.

Sighing she turned to get back on her bike. The kid seemed embarrassed that she had been caught being a teen. Yuki shrugged and smiled before she turned and went to collect her helmet as she stood there by her bike. Slipping the helmet on her head she gave her the thumbs up, "Nice outfit." she called out as she got ready to get on the bike.
"You sure you're okay?" she asked her as she hooked her leg around the bike and got onto it. Sliding her body onto it as she balanced on it neatly, "If you need me to call someone I can." she offered. There was something about this girl that made her want to stick around as she prepared to head out. Her body paused as she looked over at the kid.

[/size][/div] to begin, [/IMG][/div] "That sucks." Yuki announced as she balanced on her bike and heard the other girl talk about her ex. "Some people have no lives. He's probably just jealous." she said with a reassuring smile to the other woman. "Nice shirt." she said to the skull and rose t she was wearing. Shifting slightly the creek of her leather pants and her jacket showed she was at least warm. Reaching into her pocket she pulled out some riding gloves and slipped them on her hands.
"Don't let a loser like that get under your skin." she said with a smile as she looked over at her. Shrugging her shoulders slightly she smiled and then grabbed her bike helmet, "I'll probably see you around. L.A. is really a small town in some ways." she said as she regarded the other woman quietly. This was not a woman that wanted to fade into the background. She wanted attention and seemed like she was good at getting it.
She started up her bike with a twist of the key and a rev of the engine. She had to get herself settled in and figure out what else she needed to get her business up and running. Things weren't going to set themselves up. She sighed as she thought about the long list ahead of her and inwardly groaned at the length of the list she had. Ahh well, first things first.

"I don't normally, but there are somethings that are just better left undisturbed," she pointed out. "For sure!" she commented, though in Athena's mind, in a city where motorcycle gangs hang out, finding one rider was going to be on the difficult side.
When the woman turned the key to her bike and the engine started, Athena looked around. She realized they weren't that far from her car, and there were other places to shop in town she was certain. "Well, Nice meeting you!" she called, trying to be both under and over the sound of the engine. "See you around!" she waved at the woman, half waited for a waited for a response, then turned to her car as well.

[/size][/div] to begin, [/IMG][/div] Looking at the other woman Yuki reached into her jacket pocket and pulled out a card for her business, "I'll be opening in the next few weeks as soon as my license comes in the mail." she told the other woman and passed her the card, "My name is Yuki Akiyama. Feel free to visit if you need a hand with something." she said before she settled herself on her bike and watched the other woman turn away.
"It was great to meet you." she called with a wave as she prepared to leave, waiting to see that Athena got in her car safely. It was just habit with her to make sure people were safe when they left. Only after the car was gone did Yuki head out for the open road and the hotel room she called home till they finished cleaning her apartment.
