It was more than a little late for a party, however, it never seemed to stop for Lilith. The kind of party she had in mind was dangerous for both parties involved and the kind of entertainment she was bringing was just to die for. Heading for the abandoned warehouse that most thought to be haunted, Lilith wiggled her hips suggestively as she walked, leading her human cattle to the slaughter house. It was so easy to lure them away from their frat parties, young college guys looking to score with anything that had a pulse. Sometimes she wondered if that part even mattered, but then she realized she prefered not to create that sort of mental image. Demon or not, even she had some sort of line and it stopped at feeling up a corpse.
"Just a little bit further, then we will be all alone. Don't be shy, you can't let me go in all by myself.." she said, her tone a soft whine. She was very good at this, which was to be expected after many years of practice. Taking his hand in her own, she placed one on her hip, before doing the same with the other. After that, she would lead the man inside where her surprise was waiting for him. It was easy to tell that he was unsure whether or not it was a good idea to be here and his instincts were right for making him feel so uneasy. As the door shut, there was a loud sound like a coat in the wind, and then another man dropped down from the beams.
This of course was all a game set up by her, she wanted to see if this man could overcome the beast with his rage. Screaming loudly, Lilith startled the vampire who smacked her right across the face. Flying across the room, she landed with a thud in the shadows, her leg twitching. That was the trigger in the mind of a drunken, hot headed frat boy who thought himself a tough guy. His anger was boiling in his veins, she could feel it. From the shadows her eyes glowed a crimson red colour as she instigated, channeling his rage at the vampire. It wasn't even going to be a fight, she knew that, but the creature was naturally angry at his interferance so Lilith got to feed whichever way this went.

[/size][/div] to begin, [/IMG][/div] There was something to be said for tracking vampires; it sucked. They always wanted to live in these god forsaken hell holes where they would look for anyone looking to get laid and get a thrill. She really didn't understand why teens and frat boys thought it was hot to do it in an abandon building. If the bird poop didn't kill you the tetanus potential would.
Sighing she came out of the shadows as she watched the vampire backhand the girl and go after the boy, "Now now...no need to get testy. We can always double date!" she said as she kicked the back of the vamp's knee and he staggered, "Get out of here!" she yelled to the boy. and then squared off against the vampire as he smirked. "Awww its just you and me now handsome. Wanna tango?" she asked him as he lunged at her and she dodged, using his momentum to send him crashing into a pile of debris.
Now he was good and pissed, "I'm going to kill you slowly, bitch." he growled as he got up and came at her again. His features twisted into an ugly mask of rage. The angrier he got the more mistakes he made and that was what Yuki was counting on.
"Ooo and no kiss goodnight. My we are grumpy today!" she said as she kicked his feet out from under him but not before he sideswipped her and she fell on top of him. "Well now this is bad position to be in." she said as she punched him in the face.

It never seemed to take that long for a slayer to show up out of the blue. In this city they were like a plague or at least they used to be. As of late there were very few that she had seen in action, perhaps the evil in this city was simply starting to grow faster than the good. Closing her eyes quickly, Lilith stopped them from glowing so that she did not put herself on the monsters radar. Instead she did the only thing she knew how to do in a situation like this, whimpering, she started to try and crawl away. The sounds of combat behind here were obvious, she didn't need to turn around to know what was happening back there.
Searching around in the dark for a moment, Lilith was trying to find something for the slayer to use as a weapon. "Oh god! I don't want to die!" she screamed, whimpering hysterically as she kicked her feet underneath her in the attempt to get further away from the scene. In the process she kicked a rusty piece of pipe towards the two of them, rolling until it hit the slayer in the leg. The pipe was sharpened at the end, the perfect weapon for ending a supernatural pain in the arse like a vampire. Her hysterical frenzy was actually quite good, she had to give herself that.
Lilith was in full on tears, panic mode so real that she almost believed she was afraid. Getting to her feet, Lilith started to run up the stairs, which probably made the vampire want to fight harder to get Yuki off of her. His victim was fleeing the scene, both exciting, and infuriating him. Yet before he could do much Lilith had disappeared up onto the platform above, sitting down with her legs dangling down over the ledge. From the way she was sitting it looked like she slipped, her leg caught inbetween the poles leaving her stranded, laying helpless above.
"My leg, I'm stuck!" she called out, cutting into her own skin gently. When the scent of her blood hit the air, the vampire would most likely go into a frenzy. On top of it all she was fanning the flames of hatred it must have felt by being tossed around by such a tiny little woman. "..please don't be dead.."

The guy caught a screamer. she thought as the vampire tried to get her off of him to get at the fresh meat that was doing her bimbo best to flee the scene. Snatching up the sharpened lead pipe she sighed, "Say goodnight, Alice!" she said as the vampire rolled her onto the floor, but not before he impaled himself on the pipe.
Spitting she coughed to clear her lungs of vamp dust and slowly got up, "Its okay. He's just part of the dust here now." she said as she tried gingerly climbing up the stairs, "Did you get hurt?" she asked as she looked over the scene and how best to help the woman without having her sever an artery and bleed out all over the place. "My name is Yuki. Its okay you're safe now." she said as she approached the young scared woman, "What on earth made you decide to make out with someone in an abandon building?" she asked as she worked on trying to free the other woman. It bugged her that people even came to these places.

Thank goodness all the screaming, crying, and snarling was over. It was starting to become too painful to cry so hysterically for that long. There was a squishing sound which ended it all, signaling Lilith that she was free to wiggle her leg out a bit now. The soft tapping sound of shoes on the metal stairs echoed in the empty building, the slayer was coming. Now that she was finished with the vampire, had she come up here to investigate the screaming or to put an end to her too? There was a moment back there where Lilith could have given herself away, no, she was simply being paranoid that was all. There was no way that this woman had time to pay much attention to her with all that was going on.
"Did I get hurt? That is all you have to say after that? You sound like you've done this before. You killed someone.." she said, wincing in pain as she tried to pull her leg out from between two of the poles. Slowly and surely she would start to come free, but even was impressed by how far she had taken it. The wound she cut into her own leg was fairly deep, even she would have trouble healing, let alone walking out of here on it. "Lilith." she replied, before giving Yuki an aprehensive look. Just as anyone who had been through such a thing might look, she didn't trust the woman who she thought to be a murderer.
Breaking out into tears again, Lilith covered her face with her hands as she was interrogated by this new woman. "I'm new in town. I don't have any friends, anywhere to stay. I was just trying to get by, trying to get to know people." she said, most of it almost impossible to decipher as she balled into her hands. The humans were right, it did feel good to cry, especially when you were doing it for "good" reasons. Her story didnt exactly paint her in the best of lights, she was a young woman all alone, using her body to live. It might be enough however to get her closer to a slayer.
To keep your enemies close, that was a true gift. All she had to do was somehow get into this slayers good graces and then she was made. Wiping her eyes on her sleeve, Lilith looked down at her leg. "I'm not going to lose my leg am I?" she asked, her lip still quivering slightly. "It looks pretty bad.."

[/size][/div] to begin, [/IMG][/div] Standing there, Yuki sighed, "I killed a demon. I could have let you fight it out with tall dark and fanged but I somehow don't think that's what you signed on for." The girl was crying and she tried to put a soothing look on her face, "You'll be okay. I'll drop you off at the hospital. They'll put a few stitches in and give you a tetanus shot and you'll be right as rain." She tried to be as soothing as she could be. It wasn't her forte. She was used to dusting the problem and leaving. It made her life so much easier when there wasn't a hysterical witness, "I didn't kill anyone. Do you see a body?" she said calmly as she tried to help the other woman to stand. "Do you have a cellphone? We can call an ambulance if you like."
She then heard the woman's story, "Okay, look obviously we can't tell the police about this so I'll drive you to the hospital and you can say you fell or something." Yuki ran a hand through her hair, "You don't have a place to stay...I can get you a hotel room for the night and some food if you need it. We can get you a job and look into places. I'm just getting settled. They're still getting my apartment ready. I'm living out of a hotel at the moment myself." she explained as she tried to help the woman to her bike. "I'm not the best person to help here but I'll do what I can." she said softly as she moved with her outside of the building and then looked at her bike, "This is gonna be hard." she said softly as she looked at the girl.

Lilith stared at Yuki long and hard as if she was pondering the meaning to life or something. "A.. demon..?" she asked slowly, filling her voice with disbelief. After living with them so long you managed to pick up on a few things, especially their ability to be astonished by almost anything. How they lived for so long on this earth yet they could not accept the existance of other beings was beyond Lilith. She found it humorous that her kind were nothing more than superstitious legends, believed only by the crazy, and sometimes the over zealous holy men. "You're trying to tell me that thing was a demon? Like old testament, fire and brimstone demon?" she asked, shifting her position a bit and wincing in pain.
"Am I going to make it to a hospital? It looks awful as it is." she said, looking down at her leg. Truth be told it didn't hurt as much as she thought, but this time she probably laid it on too thick by actually wounding herself. If this slayer hadn't been so kind she might have had to defend herself and with this leg it would have been difficult. "No, I don't have a phone. I'm sort of like the wind, I can never find a home so I never really had a need for one. I wish that would change though." she said, laughing quietly.
Thinking quickly on her feet, Lilith bit her lower lip and sighed quietly. "I know this is a lot to ask of someone I just met but uh.." she started, exhaling. "I just survived almost having my soul eaten by a demon. You killed it, would it be alright if I stayed with you? At least, just for the night. I'm not scared or anything but.. why risk it.." she said, glancing down nervously where there had previously been a ravenously hungry vampire with ominous fangs. "If not I can figure something out.. it's just that you seem like a capable.. whatever you are.." she said, shrugging her shoulders as if searching for a term.
When they got outside, Lilith's face curved into a bright smile as she saw the bike. She loved motocycles and the person attached to this one wasn't too bad to look at either. The last time she rode on one of these was with an ex-lover of hers in the town before this, a Werewolf who couldn't control himself. Of course she fled the town after causing a massacre in a buffet, the course of the night became human flesh with a side of dog. She remembered the night vividly, truth be told she almost died too.
"Nice bike.. must get the guys excited.. biker chick." she joked, wincing in pain as she took a step down onto her wounded leg. "Don't mind me, I think I am losing a lot of blood.."

[/size][/div] to begin, [/IMG][/div] "Well, Vampire actually, but yeah it was a supernatural being that was out to kill you and tall scrawny and spotted who ran out of here." she said as she gestured with a jerk of her head at the exit. "You'll find there are a lot of things that go bump in the night and they could make a serial killer piss himself." There she went again scaring the civies. This was why she had no friends but she hated ignorant people. They annoyed her.
"You'll be fine. I'll have to break a few speed laws but you don't strike me as the type that is going to flinch at a little law breaking. Sides the cops take one look at that leg and they will be giving us an escort." she sighed and pulled a spare helmet out of her trunk, "Here, at least we can observe some rules of the road."
At the question of if she could stay with her Yuki remained silent for the moment and made sure to listen to what she had to say, "I guess that would work. I'm going to be getting my business set up and getting a place of my own soon just so you know, but you can stay with me till you get a job and find a place." she wasn't likely to be that much of an imposition after all. "I'm a hunter. Specifically I hunt vampires but if I know something supernatural is causing problems I try and make the streets a little safer. I just try to even the odds a bit.

Lilith laughed nervously, as if to say 'yeah right, stop kidding', in response to Yuki's explaination. It seemed that she wasn't going to readily accept what Yuki had to tell her about it, she was in "shock" from what happened still as far as she knew. Wearing a pensive expression, she seemed to be weighing her options now as to where to go from here. Yuki was introducing the poor girl to a world she had no idea about, something that Lilith noted she seemed to have almost no emotional reaction to on the surface. It was almost as if Yuki was desensitized to the whole thing. Which type of slayer was she? The goody two-shoes helper or the cold avenger?
"Even more reason for you to protect me. You fought where that guy ran off to leave me to my fate. I'm indebted to you, I promise I will be helpful!" she said, sounding very hopeful. How she could help Yuki she had no idea, but perhaps she wasn't the neatest person ever? For now Lilith would offer her services as they were, until she found something that paid off for her. "I know it can't be an easy decision, but I'm willing to put myself to work to earn that protection.." she said, though her voice was a bit suggestive accidentally. Lilith was still soaring from feeling all of that anger, it always put her in a mood.
Taking the helmet from Yuki, Lilith turned it over in her hands to examine it. There was a look on her face that said she would rather risk the injury over wearing this thing. "Ugh, helmet hair." she said, putting it on and doing her best to slide onto the bike behind Yuki. "Perhaps I can help you with that! I can't fight or anything like that but maybe I can be useful some other way." she said, trying to be thoughtful. "Maybe I can do filing.. or something.." she suggested, shaking her head. She was all out of ideas for now, but it seemed like she would find a place with this hunter somehow.
Once she was seated how she felt the most secure, Lilith wrapped her arms around Yuki. She had to hold on to something right? "You don't think I'm going to end up spending the whole night there, do you?" she asked, waiting for them to head off for the hospital.

She didn't know anything about her but it seemed as if she was offering more than Yuki was willing to deal with, "Hey there, you don't have to worry. I'm not the type to take advantage, okay? You don't have to pay me back that way." she rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly before pausing and starting the bike up to drive down the road and away from the mess they left behind.
"I know the helmet sucks but I'm not going to drive you to the hospital only to potentially get in an accident that could get you killed. Lots of folks suffer from road rage nowadays and me being on a bike makes me a prime target." she said as she felt the woman place her hands on her hips and relaxed gently in place, steering the bike and leaning this way and that to get through traffic, "We can try you as a secretary I guess but lets get you patched up first. They may give you something that knocks you out for pain management and I'd rather you be not coming off an adrenalin rush before you agree to anything."
Well that and she really didn't know this girl at all and wanted to see what the database pulled up on her before she got too involved with her, "I'm not sure how long you're going to be. I'll stay with you till we know and if its a long time I'll head back to the hotel and get you registered with me and your own bed. I'll be back though so don't worry. I'll see about grabbing you a track phone with some minutes while I'm out too." she added in thought, "Probably grab you a change of clothes from Walmart since its likely to be the only thing open by the time we get out." she was thinking through what this girl would need and talking out loud to reassure her more than anything else. "We'll get it all done. Good thing IHOP is open 24 hours. You're probably going to need to eat something before you can take some pain meds."

Lilith blinked at Yuki, tilting her head to the side as she rubbed her neck awkwardly. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean uh.." she trailed off, laughing softly to herself. Yuki was nice to look at, however she wasn't sure that she even trusted this slayer. For all she knew Yuki knew what she was up to and that she was playing her own game. Lilith was playing chess in her head, though she had no way of knowing if her 'opponent' was moving her own pieces or not on the other side. That was what made this so intriguing to her, why she wanted this so badly, more than anything else at the moment. She couldn't read anything about Yuki beyond the fact that she was a really nice person for her line of work.
"Well, thanks for thinking of me at least. That would make the amount of people thinking of me jump up to a whopping two." she said, now sliding her arms around Yuki entirely. As she weaved in and out of traffic Lilith actually started to feel real fear, not just her faked emotions. She had no control in this situation, all of that lay with the driver of the motorcycle. Said driver seemed to be in a mode, thinking aloud to herself about all of the things that Lilith might need. She was going way out of her way for a stranger, way out of her way for someone who was not comfortable doing things like this.
"Are you sure this is okay?!" shouted Lilith over the wind. She was imposing her will on this one. Even if she didn't feel that bad, she didn't want to seem like she was taking advantage of Yuki either. It seemed like she didn't know how to say no, despite feeling very apprehensive about all of this. Lilith could tell, this wasn't the first time she tried to talk her way into a place to stay and something to eat. "If you're really sure, I promise I can do a good job. I've done it before, though maybe not for this subject matter." she said, watching the cars as they passed.
Leaning in closer, Lilith gave Yuki a small squeeze as she went through all the planning once more. "You really don't have to go to all of that trouble. Just helping me by keeping me safe for the night is totally awesome. I wouldn't want you to go out of your way for me!" she said, keeping an eye out for the hospital. Once Yuki went off to do the other things, Lilith would slip away from the nurses once she was stitched up and wait for her to come back. She couldn't exactly let them run tests on her or anything like that. She knew how humans loved their tests, but her blood would come back as an abnormality.
"I can answer your questions about me later, I know you must have some!"

[/size][/div] to begin, [/IMG][/div] She listened to the girl as she seemed to back peddle a bit. Her tone indicated she was just as leery of her. It somehow made her feel better that she wasn't the only one who was feeling odd about this situation and she began to relax into the ride as they went along. It wouldn't take long, there wasn't much traffic as far as things went. Must have been a night that most of the vamps were indoors or something. There wasn't the usual chaos of traffic.
"You're not a bother. I wouldn't feel right letting you go home alone after all that. Besides I'm new in town too so its not much of an imposition and its someone to help share the rent. L.A. isn't cheap to live in and its better if you have someone who has your back till you get settled in." she called over her shoulder. "Lets get you fixed up and then sort stuff out, okay?" she asked as she kept her eyes on the road and they pulled up to the hospital.
Once she knew that the girl was being looked after she drove off to go shopping and take care of errands. She returned in short order and soon Lilith was getting settled in for the night.
