The girl ran down the alley, panting as she tried to outrun the creature of the night; who in her mind, was a psychotic killer. But there was so much that she didn't know. He was much more than just a psychotic killer, something she realized as she stumbled to the ground and turned to witness his fangs shine in the moonlight; his face morph into something demonic, worth being afraid of. She begun screaming relentlessly for help, but no one was beckoning her calls, the man only looked on with a snicker. "Why are you screaming, theres no one to help you now." She begun panting even more relentlessly than before as he approached her creepishly, before grabbing her and hoisting her against the alley wall and leaning in close, smelling her aroma with a satisfied smirk. His mouth widened as she turned away in fear and shock, about to lunge in on her neck before an arrow lunged to the right of his skull, landing in the alley wall.
He turned, dropping the girl who fell to her knees and remained there in panic, covering herself, tears welling up. "Who was that?!" The man yelled, but got no response. He then noticed someone approaching out of the shadows, crossbow in hand. Levi dropped the crossbow to his side, looking on at the vampire. "Let her go." He looked on, the man smirking as he looked down at the panicked woman. "This has nothing to do with you, whoever you are. What are you going to do? You missed." Levi looked down at the ground for a moment before looking back up at the man before him. "I was aiming for the wall, approximately five centermeters away from your skull. Now its dark, and I'm no analyst or anything, but I'd say from where I'm standing, I hit the mark." A slight smirk appeared on his face as the vampire looked at the arrow then back at Levi angrily. "You won't get another shot now." On that, the vampire lunged towards Levi.
The vampire went for a punch, but Levi dodged, landing a sidekick to the vampire's knee, before twisting into a backhand. The vampire staggered back, stunned by this man's ability to knock him back. "Who are you?!" The vampire asked curiously as he looked on. Levi shrugged softly in response. "Just someone who kicks people like you's ass for a living. Nothing personal." The vampire lunged foward again, Levi once again dodging, this time punching the vampire in the head, followed by a thrust to the chest. The vampire went for a kick, but he blocked quickly, lunging his left arm foward, a stake appearing from inside his jacket at the wrist, landing on the vampire's heart. The vampire soon faded into dust, as Levi looked on. He then turned, hoisting the bow over his shoulder as he approached the girl, who was now backed against the alley wall, still in complete fear. "You okay there? You don't have anything to fear anymore. Just go home, lock your doors and don't walk into dark alleys at night alone, capish?" He eyed her curiously, as she thanked him and he even scored a hug, before she ran off panting. Well, at least he scored a hug out of the whole thing; at times, things like that really made the job bearable. But who doesn't enjoy kicking vampire ass for a living, minus the lack of pay or bonuses?

While on the other side of the city, things just weren't as exciting. One brother was off fighting the good fight and probably being a cocky bastard in the process, the other was at home like a good boy. The whole 'fighting' thing wasn't really his piece of cake. Sure, if push comes to shove he will shove like no other. But while the others kill, he stays at home and plays parent. Who else will do it? He had homework, reading and not to mention the fact that he lives with two animals whose method of cleaning is to just not worry about it. It wasn't that Jerry minded, dirty dishes were better then dirty alleyways, but the help level in this place is very, very limited. Tyler is always either fighting or drinking so no help there, and Levi is either fighting or avoiding home most of the time. They were no Brady Bunch, no perfect brotherhood here. Just a lot of resentment, blood and full moons. Sometimes he just wanted his mother here - okay, not onto that dirty topic, back to Victor Van Gogh.
Ear phones in, a desk light shining on his pad he wrote down notes on the famous artist as music pounded in his ears. Yeah, this was definitely typical night in for Jerry. Just wait until the weekend, then things will definitely look different. Okay, Van Gogh was born - - he couldn't get his mind off it now. What had it been, three or four months? His pen stopped against the paper as his eyes veered and he looked at the photograph at the top of his desk. A picture of his mother hugging him, probably taken around fifteen years ago. It felt like a liftime. As he looked it, he started to feel sad. No, no sad. Not now. He couldn't deal with that right now. Pulling his earphones out, he let out a breath. Love ya mum, but not now. He had to get out of the house now. Call him dramatic, but he had spent a while now mourning, trying to keep his mind off of her. He didn't want it rushing back right now. So pulling an open shirt over his white tank, he grabbed his car keys and marched out the front door. The phone was up to his ear and he was actually smiling. Either that, or putting on a great pokerface.
"No. Because I said no. Kara, blind dates are for sad lonely people. I am not - okay, I get your point. What! You're sick and you know it. Listen, don't say anything yet. I'm going for a drive. To get Levi, I'll talk to you later. Okay, by". A smile stayed on his face as Jerry got to his truck and hoped on in. Blind dates? Maybe he just wasn't into the whole relationship thing. In his track record of every relationship he has consists of resentment for his dead father, a recently deceased mother, brothers who barely talk and a boyfriend who liked to hit. Rushing into a new one right now, I don't think so. He had to work on the relationships he could still fix right now, and that is with his brothers. Dialing Levi's number as Jerry hit the road, he put the phone up to his ear as it rang. The Brothers Trinity huh? Three werewolves destined to kill the vampires, working together to protect the innocent. Yeah right, whoever wrote that obviously didn't know these three brothers. More of a disfunction then an alliance.
"Hey, where are you?"

He watched as the woman scattered down the alley safely and out of sight. Hopefully she wouldn't be stupid enough t ocome down here. He was positive she wouldn't. You kind of have a lot of motivation to do otherwise when you nearly get slaughtered by a scary vampire, who wasn't even that scary to be honest. Levi was more scared of who he was than of what the vampire was. Maybe it was the fact that at times, he lost control of himself and he could do unmeasurable and unpredictable things and hurt those around him; whether loved ones or mere innocents like this girl was. That was a scary thing to think about, not just for him but for the three of them. This was one of the things they couldn't always control or predict in their life, and it scared him. Very much so.
He was about to turn and maybe investigate around a bit more, before he felt his phone vibrating and his ringtone echoing moments later. He looked at the contact, smiling softly as he noticed it was Jericho. He picked up the phone, Jericho quickly asking where he was. "Whats wrong bro, having withdrawal symptoms from me already? Its only been like an hour. Do you need to pick me up so you can get to sleep or something?" He chuckled to himself teasingly. He enjoyed teasing his brothers. He really didn't have a preference, but Jericho seemed to make it easier to tease him, Tyler was good at giving it back to Levi. Too well most of the time. But Jericho was the modest brother, the sensitive one who cared too much for others and put everyone before himself. It was good in a way, but at times he needed to put himself first as well.

Of course it had to be snide. Of course. Turning into downtown LA, he spun the wheel as he cruised down the road and through the dark. The water on the road rained upwards behind the wheel as he drove, the faint hint of vapor still in the air from the radiating headlights. Smirking at his brother's comment, he kept driving as he held his phone up to his ear. That was Levi, never a serious moment. "Withdrawal? Really, Levi. No, I just needed to get out of the house. Do something maybe? Where are you, I'll pick you up". He said as he turned onto a dark main street, not a car in sight. He drove but slowed down when he heard it. The faint murmur of Levi's thoughts. Some jiberish was heard about an oppinion on - well, on Jerry. He smirked as he slowed down the car to a hault. And in vamp central also, how convenient. "Oh, wait. I can hear you. Alley on fourth?". He asked, parking the car but keeping the headlights and windscreen wipers on. Kicking back in the car slightly, he waited for a response.
But then he heard something. A girl charging out of the alleyway, panting like mad. His hearing twitched as he heard the worry in her voice, feeling the fear through her and smelling - Levi's collogne. Ah, he was here. Feeling a bit worried for the girl running down the dark street, Jerry put the phone closer to his here. "Was a girl attacked? She's running down the street. Talk about reckless. Any more of the fanged and furious around here?". He asked as he watched the girl run. And then - bang! The dark shadow of a vampire charged out of an alley at super speed with his teeth already sucking the blood from her neck. He gasped, and with super speed zoomed out of the car and charged down the alley, ripping the vamp off of the girl as he sent the vamp into the wall. Grabbing the weakened girl, he kept her behind him as not just two, but three more vamps emerged from the shadows. Putting his phone to his ear, he literally gulped. "Um, help?".

He nodded, as if he was talking to Jericho in person as he walked in a slow circle, keeping himself occupied while he spoke to his brother, still hearing and smelling the girl run off. "Yeah, hanging out with Tyler around the house too much does that. If he isn't offering you a beer, his probably decided to turn your body into a punching bag for sport. Why do you think I waste my time out here saving damsels all night? It isn't for the hugs I get, okay well it sort of is but thats beside the point." So who didn't like being appreciated and hugged by the beautiful damsel in distress who also smelt so amazing?! And not just because he could smell her perfume, but because he could really smell her perfume. Those heightened senses really do bring out the most of people at times.
He sighed softly to himself as he continued doing laps in a small circle. "If you must. I was enjoying myself out here not having to put up with you two for an hour or so." He stopped in a spot when Jericho mentioned that he could hear him. Although those heightened senses and telepathic bonds come in handy at times, it could be quite annoying also. "Did you hear me call you an idiot? Oh, you probably missed that part." He smirked softly to himself. He did enjoy picking on his brothers, they had to have some fun after all. All this slaying vamps business can be very depressing otherwise. Although it is bad to think of it in such a humoress manner, it is sometimes the only way to get through it all with your clarity in tact.
And then the girl just happened to run straight past Jericho's car it seemed. "Ay, thats my damsel. She was a good hugger too, maybe you can get lucky tonight, give her a ride home or something." He continued to smirk softly. Then Jericho asked him for help. "Help? She isn't forcing herself upon you or something, that could be fatal. But seriously, do I have to always come and save your ass? I'll be right there." It wasn't difficult to find where Jericho was, as all he had to do was follow were the idiotic girl had ran off too. He quickly ran, retrieving his bow from the floor and hoisting it over his shoulders again before running down the alley to the main street, where he soon saw Jericho's car parked, and Jericho about to have some fun with three vampires. "Wow, you really do attract a crowd, huh?" He asked with a smile, as the vampires turned in confusion, not expecting to see him as well. "You take the girl, I'll take the three idiots?" He asked curiously with a playful smile, before one of the vampires charged at him. He bent down, throwing the vampire over his shoulder. The other soon approached, but he ran foward quicker and jumped, kicking the vampire in the chest, soon falling to the ground. The third vampire landed a punch on Levi's jaw, and he held his jaw in pain for a second. The vampire went for another punch, but he blocked with the bow, and firing a shot right into the vampire's throat. The vampire fell to the floor in pain. Thats gotta hurt.

The Wolfes; you wouldn't say they were really that close. Like you wouldn't see the three of them together on a boys night, or catch them all in the the house together at the same time, but they got each other. Some more then most, but Levi and Jerry knew each other. Growing up together can do that, but Levi can sit there tossing around puns and jokes until the sun goes down, and Jerry can subside them. Mostly because it can only take a Wolfe to interpret that Levi isn't being a dick. He did want to hang out and he was relatively keen about it, and Jerry didn't even need empathy for that. But like always, Wolfe plans never end out too good. Jerry's sixteenth, Tyler's twenty first, Levi's graduation; vampires always have to spoil it. And now, only seconds after he was just picking up his brother, he stood in front of a triad of vamps looking really, really pissed. And Jerry stood there in front of the wounded girl, his phone up to his ear and barely moving a muscle. From the phone he heard Levi ranting, and felt like screaming at him. "Dude, I'm really not kidding". Jerry nervously snapped into the phone, and hung up as he looked towards the vampires, his vision trailing between the bloodsuckers.
"You don't know who you are messing with wolf. You obviously have a death wish". Growled one of the vampires as Jerry looked at him. The rage, hate and anger flowed into Jerry as he glared at the vampire. How fun it must be to feel that on a regular basis. Must be one of the traits of being a souless killer. "Not really, just passing through. Suddenly realizing that alleys aren't the best way to meet people". After he spoke however, Levi had used the convenient wolf speed and was right there, puzzeling the vamps. Of course with a bit of wit, Jerry rolled his eyes. But with his younger brother's request, Jerry didn't say no. "Don't have to tell me twice". As Levi started taking on the vampires, Jerry looked up the alley ways. About a seven-eight foot gap between the alley walls, piece of cake. Wrapping his arm around the girl, he charged in a speed that nearly blurred in the shadows and pounced up the wall. Jerry used momentum and strength to clutch to the bricks, kicking off of the wall and latching onto the fire escape. Her breathing was heavy, sweat poured off of her and confusion and fear radiated from her. He needed to do some damage control asap!
Landing on the roof, out of sight and hopefully out of mind, Jerry turned to girl to him. She was beautiful - he guessed. If this was one of the rooftop vigilante/damsel kiss scenes then this damsel was sorely mistaken. "Hey, don't worry. You'll be okay". He told her as she shook in fear, but then her breathing slowed down. Her heavy heartbeat followed. Calm and cooling vibes went through her as he touched her hand as her affraid expression calmed down. If Jerry kept this up, hopefully she would fall asleep. If not, she was going to feel so very stoned. But he heard it. His head twitched slightly, the sound of the rush of air and the cold spot in the area told him one thing; a vamp was here and wasn't happy. Turning to him, Jerry looked through the darkness and saw through the darkness, the dark eyes and the fangs dripping with saliva. The heavy breath of death and the fierce expression. He was going to attack in 3, 2, - - - now. The emotional change from anticipation to determination go him, and the vampire charged at him at an impossible speed. But as Jerry looked at it, Jerry focused and the vampire stopped, dropping to the ground. When a truck load of emotions are sent into your body, they are just screaming to come out. Your blood starts to boil, your head feels like it is shattering and every muscle in your body starts to turn. The vampire screamed as Jerry charged towards it, belting a kick into the vampire's ribs as it launched through the air and into an AC roof box. He might not be as physically strong as his brothers, but he still packs a punch.

Well things were going good so far; Jericho had taken the damsel to safe ground it seemed, as he noticed the brother almsot flying up the alleyway and passed the fire escape. What a showoff...He thought to himself, smirking briefly before recieving a blow from the vampire who had just had an arrow shoved into his throat. He held his lip for a moment, then the vampire pulled the arrow out and went to stab Levi in the chest with it, but he dodged and kicked the vampire in the midsection, grabbing the arrow and stabbing it into his heart this time, watching as the vampire soon became dust. One down, two to....Huh? Only one vampire left? He looked around confused, and then noticed that the vampire had gone after Jericho and the girl. Dammit, it was already odds in their favor and they still decided to go off? Were they that confident that two vampire grunts could take him out or something? That pissed him off. He glared at the other vampire, before lunging foward, punching it in the head and tackling it to the ground, continually punching it in the face. "What, you thought one of you could just gallivant off and the two of you could take me, huh? You think I'm that easy?!" He continued punching the vampire, before stopping, breathing heavily for a moment. "Oh, yeah..." He pulled out a stake from around his waist and lunged it into the vampire's heart, soon turning to dust as well.
He looked up as the vampire gained speed on Jericho. He quickly trailed the vampire, making his way up to where they were as fast as he could. But as he got to where the ruckus was coming from, he watched as the vampire flew into an AC roof box. He nodded his head in appreciation towards Jericho. "When did you become so badass all of a sudden? We haven't been spending that much time together." He chuckled softly, walking up to the vampire and lunging a stake through its heart, soon turning to dust. He turned back to Levi and the dazed girl. "So whose bright idea was it to come onto a roof? I can't say its hers as she looks a little...Out of it, at the moment? I guess I underestimated your ability to charm a woman there man." He smirked teasingly, nudging his brother as he approached them, before leaning down near another AC box. "So where do we dump the damsel? Two vampire strikes in about five minutes, would be suprised if this girl refused admittance to a psychiatric ward or something." He shrugged softly looking at her for a moment, before turning back to Jericho. "So, about that ride? Lets drop her off somewhere safe and go for a cruise? Maybe even run over a few vampires on the way?"

Letting out a breath, he straightened up his shirt as he then looked to the girl. She held her neck, and was shaking. It wasn't good, and seriously manipulating minds rather then emotions would be so convenient right now. He felt bad, probably because he could feel ever ounce of fear she had in her right now. It wasn't easy to deal with, but he had to do something. Walking back over to her, tears falling down her cheeks he touched her shoulders, lightly as she looked up at him. "Don't worry, he's gone now. You'll be okay. I promise". As a matter of fact, she wasn't. She was messed up, he could feel it. And hearing his brother coming up behind them, he heard him. But Jerry was seriously not in the joking mood, not when it came to the harm to people that didn't need this. His compassionate side; his biggest weakness. Turning to him, but as he joked around as always, Jerry this time didn't react. "Just dust him, please". He said, feeling the chilled and carefree nature of his brother, but in this situation Jerry wasn't feeling that too much. Being an empath, and having the nature of a caring person, it made it hard to get through these kind of battles this easily. Now you know why this brother won't jump into the line of fire as easily as the others.
Dismissing his next comment, Jerry's attention was directed to the girl, and trying to focus on the area and feel for any more blood-suckers waiting to be slayed. But there wasn't anyone for now, and looking back to the girl he waited for the vampire to die so everything would be alright. But would it? But what Levi sai then was true. This girl would be messed up after this, he had seen it time and time again. After taking on his first vampire, he even spun out a bit. "Yeah, I know". He replied, giving Levi a serious glance as he helped the girl over to the wall. She leant against it, exhausted as since well, she was drained of a fair bit of blood. Vampire bites were definitely not a walk in a park, but Jerry decided to go with the original plan. Touching her arm, he closed his eyes as he focused. He didn't make her emotionless, but amplified the emotions which influence fearlessness and resilience, at the same time chilling her to the point that she would fall unconscious, and she did.
Jerry caught her as she fell, swinging her into his arms as he turned to Levi. Okay, this was getting rediculous and Jerry wasn't necessarily loving the attitude. Glancing at him, Jerry started walking passed him. "I'm taking her to the hospital so Sara can check on her. Then, I'm going home. This is definitely enough brotherly bonding for one night Levi". He said as he stepped over the edge, falling down the side of the wall and landing on his feet. Whatever Levi's go was with not taking anything seriously, he needed a severe reality check. Because Jerry was fed up with both of his brothers and there avoidance issues.

He raised one eyebrow as he watched Jerry walk past him with the girl, and give him a cold remark as he went down the side of the wall. Levi rolled his eyes softly, before following his brother down the wall, quickly catching up to him in a brief jog. "Hey, hey! I know your Mr sensitive of the family, but come on man? What is your deal? We kicked vampire ass, well I did anyway, you just threw one onto an AC box. We saved the damsel, nobody got injured or killed and yet you are taking this all too seriously." He really couldn't work out Jericho at some points, on why he took things to heart so much. He knew he was the sensitive one in the family with all of the empathy stuff, but he just seemed too sensitive at points. He needed to relax and stop being so serious all of the time. Not only for their sake, but for his as well.
He moved in front of Jericho, stopping him by putting a hand on his shoulder. "Have you even thought any of this through? What are you going to say when you arrive at the hospital? You found this girl lying down unconscious on the street? Or maybe you could say you rescued her from bloodsucking vampires and get yourself a free admittance to the psychiatric ward as well?" It was good that he wanted to take the girl to the hospital, she was probably going to need it. But he just felt like Jericho was being too emotional about the whole situation that he hadn't actually thought any of this through completely. And he didn't want Jericho to get hurt from this, either. This life was hard on them, though the weight seemed to fall especially hard on Jericho at times, being able to feel all of the emotions of others. He could only imagine how hard that could be, and he wanted to help, but he had to understand where his brother was coming from at points. He shrugged softly. "I still like my idea of going for a 'Fast N Furious' vampire edition, but if that's not what your feeling, we can just go home and brood or something..."

Of course he had to say something, and of course he couldn't just let Jerry walk off to do the right thing. His perception on the right thing and Levi's were very different because Jerry saw the big picture, he felt what was right where Levi's rationality was built on a foundation of big-headedness and sarcasm. Who would win? He just had to joke. He had to pretend. He had to act like everything is okay. Jerry knew differently, and still walking as Levi followed, he told him. "Because not everything is a joke Levi. Not everything can be covered up with a smirk or one of your bull-shit jokes, and not everything can be avoided". Okay, so maybe he resented his brothers a bit. Only a couple of months and they acted fine, but Jerry could feel it. He knew that Levi and Tyler missed there mother as much as Jerry did, he could feel it every morning that they wake up and every night. Yet that play this stupid role of 'i'm fine' where Jerry is the only one that can see through the facade. And he was sick of it. Then there are nights like this, bloody and bruising nights where things are definitely not okay. And Levi can joke, but Jerry knows the truth.
When Levi wizzed in front of him with that pesky super speed, his hand on Jerry's shoulder, Jerry stopped. "It's Sara. If she can give us injections that help stop us from ripping people apart once a month, she can cover something like this. Have you thought that through, you know, it is alright to put some faith in other people sometimes". But then when he went to walk passed his brother again, he had to joke. Jerry quickly moved the girl to the car, opening the back door and lying her inside. Spinning around, he felt like growling. It was annoying, and it was stressful, and he couldn't play this game anymore. "So what if I do? I know you do. You might not show that you are but you do. And you can walk around, wise-cracking and acting like a kid but here is the reality; she's gone, and you are acting like she is not and everything is fine but it isn't, Lee. It isn't, and you can think of me as the Mister Sensitive or whatever but I won't hide it - I miss mom every second but at least I can say that I don't pretend to be fine. I'm not. Are you?". He argued, feeling the emotions of Levi and the girl and himself piling up on him. Levi - he just didn't get it. Turning, he opened the driver-side door and hoped on in.

And there Jericho went. He thought Tyler could be the overbearing one at times, but Jerry was definently providing their oldest brother with some stiff competition right now. Honestly, he had completely forgotten about Sara; maybe because he was caught in the moment and acting impulsively, like he usually did and as of course Jericho had suggested. He knew Sara would be able to cover this up for them easily, and it was good. Maybe he just needed to chillax a bit and not worry about all these things, since he never really worries about anything anyway. He did worry about his brothers, though. Losing them would be the most difficult thing, since they are all that he has left basically. They are the closest thing left of their parents to him, and since he doesn't have many memories of his father, they are the only thing he has to hold on to which resembles their father.
Then Jericho mentioned it, and Levi was actually speechless. He referred to a person, whom Levi instantly knew was their mother. She had died months ago, but the passing was still affecting them all, Jericho especially it seemed, since he was the only one showing it. But they were dealing with things in their own way. Levi dealt with things like this by keeping himself preoccupied, keeping himself so busy that he didn't need to dwell on these things. This was something they weren't supposed to talk about, they promised each other they wouldn't talk about because it was just too much to handle and they needed to look to the future and not continue to dwell in the past, it wouldn't do any of them any good. It was when Jerry continued to talk about their mom, that he became angry inside, punching the nearby wall, a fist shape marking the wall, causing him to glance at his now bloody and bruised fist, before looking on at Jericho who had entered the car. "You think none of this is getting to me? I miss her too, you know. I'm just choosing to move on with life, and do what she wanted us to do, not continue to dwell on what has already happened. How can you even accuse me of not caring? We may be brothers, but we don't deal with things the same way. And thanks for continuing to pry into my emotions, I wish you never had that power..." He sighed, resting his head on the alley wall, banging his bloody palm into the wall as well, his eyes closing momentarily. He then looked back at Jericho. "Go look after your innocent, tell Tyler I won't be home tonight." On that note, he walked past the car, and down the street. He wasn't going to take any of this from his brother of all people right now.
