Sherlock came.....when i had load and loads on my plate, i just had so many shows watching and catching up on that i didn't have the time to start.

Doctor Who? well, I usually want to start at the beginning of everything i watch, with Doctor Who that is a problem. Everyone keeps saying I should Start as Season 4......but I wanna start at the beginning and catching up....is gonna take me forever then I have even less of a life lmao.

Just start at the beginning of the new series with Christopher Eccleston. You dont have to watch the old stuff and deff don't start at season four or five that makes no sense. Whoever told you that should be shot. Just Sayin...

Thing is.....if i start...I'll have to start at the reboot and that's the 9th Doctor....I could even make an attempt to see the 8th Doctor in the TV Movie from 1996.

But would feel weird because i haven't seen from Doctor 1 to 7th..which aired from 1964 to 1989, i'd still feel i'm starting half way through if I begin at the reboot from 2006 at the 9th Doctor.

Well the problem with doing Doctors 1-7 is that the BBC didn't always save the film that the episodes were recorded. Several were tossed in the furnace to make room for other things. So even a dedicated Whovian is not going to have seen everything necessarily. The point of the doctor is that there was a doctor for every generation that they could relate to. So yes, you can track down the old eps but you don't necessarily need to.
